Mr. Eletu Hails from Lagos State, Nigeria. He attended St. Michael (Anglican) Primary School, Popo-Oba, Epe, Lagos State for his first School leaving Certificate.
He attended Iwerekun Community High School, Lakowe, Ibeju/Lekki, Lagos State.
He obtained his National Diploma (ND) in Business Administration from Universal College of Technology (Now the Polytechnic, Ile-Ife), Osun State with Upper Credit in 1995.
He attended Kwara State Polytechnic, Ilorin for his Higher National Diploma in Marketing in 1998.
He went further in his academic pursuit by attending the University of Education, Winneba, Ghana and obtained a B.sc in Management Science in 2010 and M.sc in Management in the same University in 2012.
Mr Eletu has a Certificate in Computer repairs and installations, from the Lagos State Polytechnic, Ikorodu, Lagos State in 2001 and a Certificate in Computer Appreciation from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife. 1996 Eletu served his mandatory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) with Premier Paints plc, Km 2 Ifo – Ibogun Road , Ifo, Ogun State as a field officer on Project Marketing and industrial Sales, Lagos Territory office in 1999/2000.
He joined the Lagos State Public Service in 2001 as a Trade Officer in the Ministry of Commerce and Industry. He served in the various sections/units of Commerce department of the Ministry, where he roused to become the Principal Trade Officer and also served as project officer for Lagos State Enterprise zone, Ibeju/Lekki between 2009 to 2010,with the emergence of Procurement cadre in the Service in 2011, gave him the ample opportunity to change from Trade Officer’s cadre to Procurement cadre where he became one of the pioneered Procurement Officers in the Ministry of Waterfront Infrastructure Development between 2012-2013 In June, 2013 he was redeployed to Lagos State Safety Commission on request to set up its Procurement unit.
He was also redeployed to the Ministry of Works and Infrastructure in September, 2017 where he served as assistant Unit head.
In August 2018, he was redeployed to Lagos Bus Services to set up its Procurement Unit but was shortly recalled to Lagos State Public Procurement Agency from where he was redeployed to Lagos Ferry Services Company for the establishment of its Procurement Unit in November 2018 where he is presently serving as unit head.
To his credit, Mr. Eletu is a member of different professional bodies such as Institute of Freight Forwarders of Nigeria (IFFN), a Fellow of The Institute of Information & Records Management of Nigeria, Member of Procurement Officers Association of Nigeria (POAN) and Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply Management of Nigeria.
