Hails from Lagos State (Badagry LGA). He is a graduate of Business Administration (1998) from Ogun State University (now OOU), Ago Iwoye, Ogun State. He obtained his Master Degree in Public Administration (2016), University of Lagos, Akoka, Lagos.He was employed as Administrative Officer II by Lagos State Government (2000), and deployed to Ministry of Youth, Sports & Soc. Development accordingly. Mr Akinyemi Olajuwon was seconded to Lagos Waste Management Authority (LAWMA) in year 2006 where earned on the field operational experience for over 10 years in various departments at LAWMA. He attended various trainings, courses, seminars and conferences home and abroad in waste management and human capital development. Mr. Akinyemi Olajuwon has different MDA’s experiences and exposure which cut across Lagos State Independent Electorate Commission (LASIEC), Office  of State Surveyor General and Ministry of Justice.

He was deployed to Lagos Ferry Services as the Head of Admin & HR, May 2020.

He is happily married with children. He is also a member of Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPM) and Chartered Institute of Public Management of Nigeria (CIPMN).
